El Rey de Suecia, Adolfo Frederick, es recordado únicamente por su forma de morir ya que fue un Rey blando y sin talento,de hecho en las escuelas se le reconoce como “El Rey que se comio hasta morir” aunque se dice fue un buen y noble Rey con su gente, su familia y sus sirvientes. Gobernó Suecia de 1751 hasta su muerte a los 60 años en 1771.
Después de beber champaña, de tener una comida de langosta, arenque ahumado, caviar y más de 12 pastelillos y postres favoritos, se quejó de que no se sentía bien. Murió unas horas después
Abogado defiende a acusado a través de matarse a sí mismo /
Lawyer Clement Vallandigham died in 1871 after accidentally shooting himself when trying to demonstrate presumed victim of his defendant killed himself when trying to draw his pistol from a pocket.
En 1871, en Lebanon, Ohio, el abogado defensor Clement Vallandigham, miembro de el Congreso estadounidense y oponente en un momento de Abraham Lincoln representaba a un acusado de haber matado a un hombre en un bar. Su punto era demostrar que el arma se habia disparado accidentalmente matando a la victima. Clement, llevando el arma homicida a juicio quería demostrar que la victima de hecho se habia autodisparado accidentalmente al haber sacado la pistola de su bolsillo cuando se levantaba de una posición de rodillas.
Su error fue no corroborar que el arma estuviera descargada. El ejercicio resultó fatal y Clement Vallandigham se dio un tiro al dar la explicación y demostración. Clement murió a los 50 años de las heridas provocadas por el tiro y el acusado, Thomas McGehan finalmente fue liberado.

Con respecto del post en clauzz.org acerca de las muertes extrañas, me hizo recordar mucho varias canciones del The Downward Spiral, por lo que se me ocurrió buscar si una de éstas (a warm place, una de mis favoritas de siempre) tenía algún significado para alguien, digo obviamente cada quien le dá un significado y pues bueno me encontré con este post que me pareció genial y lo quería compartir con todos los hexenianos.
The Numpty
its the reverse of closer and the downward spiral on the same ablum. In relation to the whole album, is meant to represent the human part of the mind haeping the man in the story make the right choice.
Throughout the whole album, the character defied god, killed god, then became god, through sexual and violent acts (“you get me closer to god”) As the mechanical voice inside his head tries to take over him and control him, this song reflects where the machine could not reach, could not control . A warm place inside you that reminds you that there is a place inside you that nobody can reach, and nobody can take away from you, the peace and calm in your heart that will stay with you forever.
This is the turning point in the album – just as the mechanical side of the mind starts to take over control, the character realises that he can still make a choice to save his soul – death
By eraser, he wants death, in reptile, he wants to feel emotion.by the downward spiral, the mechanical side takes over, but as it does, he takes a gun to his head, to save others, and to save himself.
oh and it has lyrics (in the first fifteen seconds or so “The best thing about liife is knowing you put it together” is repeated over and over)
